During 2008, in partnership with Scholastic, Padstow Park Primary School earned $1,315 in Book Club rewards for classrooms and $601 from Book Fair. This is a total of $1,916 in rewards and resources to our school. These rewards have been made possible through the purchases of books, from Book Club and the annual Book Fair during Book Week, by the children and families of Padstow Park Primary School. This has been a great effort. Congratulations. It is really good to see that so much support to reading is happening at our school.

Welcome to the Library.

August 27th, 2008

On Wednesday 20th August two people from a company called ‘Perform’ came to bring to life some books nominated for the ‘Book Week’ shortlist competition.

The theme this year for Book Week was ‘Fuel Your Mind’ so the performance was called ‘Rev It Up’.

The children sang and clapped along to the songs and some children were chosen to participate.

Everyone had a great time.
